Tagging and Cutting
will start Saturday November 24th and will continue on Saturdays and Sundays until this year's crop is sold or until Sunday December 8th, whichever comes first. Most trees are 8 ft or less; we have a few trees over 9 ft.

Lucy's Blueberry Pie

This recepy was given to us by a Scituate librarian named Lucy. It is our favourite family pie!

Ingredients

4 cups Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  Butter
  Pie Crust (Tender Pie Crust or Pillsbury All Ready, Red Box)
1 cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Tapioca (minute)
1 tablespoon Vinager

Instructions

Mix the blueberries, sugar and tapioca.
Put the mixture in the bottom pie crust.
Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon vinager.
Dot with butter.

Put pie crust on top and seal.
Cut splits in top.

Place in oven on cookie sheet to catch the drips.
Bake at 425F for 15 minutes, then at 375F for 35 minutes more.
